What to include
A few details let us answer on the first reply:
- The name of your workspace and the email address you sign in with.
- A link to the template or generated document involved, copied from the address bar.
- Where it happened: the PaperClerk app, Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code or the REST API.
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
- The exact error message, or a screenshot.
Never send passwords or API keys. We will never ask for them.
Common questions
How do I connect Claude or ChatGPT?
Add the connector in your assistant's settings, sign in to PaperClerk and approve the connection. The steps for each assistant are on the AI info page.
My assistant is using the wrong workspace
A connection is bound to the workspace you chose when you approved it. To switch, remove the PaperClerk connector in your assistant, add it again and choose the other workspace.
I forgot my password
There is no self-service reset yet. Email us from the address you registered with and we will get you back in. If you know your password, change it on your profile page.
How do I change or cancel my plan?
Workspace owners and admins change plans, cancel and view invoices on the Billing page. Payments are processed by Polar, our merchant of record, where you can also update your card.
Where do I get an API key?
Owners and admins create keys on the Connections page. Each key opens one workspace. The API reference covers authentication and every endpoint.
How do I delete my account or workspace?
Email us from the account's address and we will complete the deletion within 30 days. Download any documents you want to keep first. The privacy policy has the details.
Can PaperClerk edit an existing PDF or collect signatures?
No. PaperClerk generates new documents from your templates. It does not edit existing PDFs and does not collect electronic signatures.
